Aperture 2.1 released today

Rob Galbraith posted a very good article about the v2.1 release today. The Big Deal is that Apple’s 7th Aperture-related release in 6+ weeks rolls out image editing plug-ins to add to the mix. Apple included its own plugin example, and outside developers are already at work, including Nik (Viveza), and PictureCode (Noise Ninja).

Corporate satisfaction survey – Leopard yes, Vista maybe not

March 26, 2008 (Computerworld) Corporate users of Apple Inc.’s Leopard operating system are more than five times more likely to say that they are “very satisfied” with the OS than business users of Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Vista, a research firm said Wednesday.

A Computerworld.com story dated 22 March focuses on an announcement from Microsoft warning of vulnerabilities of Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003 SP1. This comes weeks after a security company first reported an exploit and a day after a 2nd company confirmed ongoing attacks.
