There are many reports from upset users of iTunes 7.6.1, who have found that the last 5 or 6 seconds of the final track of imported CDs are cut short.
Apple will be issuing a maintenance update that will address this nasty bug, and other performance issues.
The iTunes 7.6.1 Update was released 21 February, so if you have imported CDs since then, particularly to compressed formats such as AAC or MP3, and you have a speedy optical drive, check the last track of each CD. If your drive is slower, you may not have this problem.
There is a workaround. If you import the final track if a CD in AIFF format, you can then convert it to MP3 pr AAC with no problems. Sound Converter and other utilities make this fairly easy.
