Mac Buyer’s Guide

InformationWeek posted a Mac Buyer’s Guide recently. If you’re in the market for a new Mac, this may be very helpful.

I get a lot of questions asking “which model should I buy?”. This article pretty much summarizes my feelings on the current Mac models. They are all pretty great, but not everyone needs or can afford a Mac Pro, or a MacBook Pro.

You should see the delighted expressions when I tell a client that a MacBook for $1299 will do what they need, and that they don’t need a MacBook Pro for $1999. Of course, one client wanted to do advanced video editing on a Mini, and wasn’t happy when I told him he would be a lot happier on a Mac Pro!
