Microsoft Office 2004, 2008 updates

Microsoft just released the Microsoft for Office for Mac 11.4.2 update, for Office 2004. You can use AutoUpdate for Mac if it is the latest version or simply download the standalone updater.

From Microsoft:

Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.4.2 Update

.dmg file size: 9.1mb

Office for Mac 2008 SP1 Update was released as well. The standalone updater will install much faster than the 2004 update, which took a long time to find my 2004 version.

Microsoft’s page describing the Service Pack 1 talks about stability, security and performance improvements. It includes the changes released in the Office 2008 for Mac 12.0.1 update.

There is a long list of improvements. Makes me wonder how messed up it was when MS released the 2008 version. Oh well, it IS Microsoft…
