AppleInsider.com has a Mac Pricing Matrix, updated regularly, which shows the prices for Mac models from Apple and a number of other vendors, and also gives the Education pricing. Below the table you’ll find additional savings with discount coupon codes for specific vendors.
Savings can range from $50 to several hundred dollars, and the lowest price is in bold text, to make it easy to spot. Each price (except the education price) is a link to the purchase page.
This is a great timesaver if you need to squeeze the nickel until the buffalo bellows (If you don’t understand this, ask someone with gray hair). There are advantages to purchase through the Apple Stores, though absolute low price is not one of them.
