It’s been a busy few days for me, but I’ve been compiling tons of info re: Snow Leopard, changes, improvements, problems, solutions, etc. and will be posting them as I have time.
In the mean time:
MacFixIt.com has a lot of great information, including MacFixIt Readers Report: Early Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard issues.
One thing to try, if you installed SL and are having any specific difficulties… try restarting, twice if necessary. This sorts out a number of issues.
Printer support is pretty good but there are printers left out. AppleTalk is dead, so if you can make a different connection (USB, IP, etc) that should solve the problem. HP says they are working on drivers not included in SL, as are other vendors. If you have an old workhorse, like my GCC Elite 12/1200, there may not be a new driver. I’m holding my breath on this one.
You may have to reset MobileMe Sync Data to continue syncing in SL.
My copy of Snow Leopard should be here today… It should be a busy couple of days!
