I immediately posted info from the Mac Security Blog regarding the shareware applications that were reported as installing spyware onto Macs. I have no idea if this is a real threat or is something Intego came up with to sell more software. I suspect that the time of the Mac’s freedom from virus and spyware issues may be coming to an end.
It was only a matter of time, given the recent success of the Mac. Stay tuned for further developments.
