AT&T is giving us a break. As noted before, some of us who aren’t finished with our two year contract are able to purchase the new iPhone 4. An AT&T representative has stated that “Everybody is eligible for a hardware upgrade at the 18 month point of that contract”.
If you are lusting after a new iPhone, and you’re still several months away from completing your contract, don’t hesitate. Go to Apple or AT&T and find out if you can get an iPhone 4. You may be surprised! If not today, you may find that 6 months have been dropped from the requirement for an upgrade.
Don’t forget that a new iPhone upgrade purchase requires a 2 year commitment to AT&T.
