I posted last week about the dangers inherent in the AutoFill exploit. It was something to be very concerned about, but it seems that Apple has addressed the vulnerability, both in Safari 5 and 4.
New updates to Safari 5 and 4 (Tiger) were released today, and according to security documentation accompanying the release, Safari 5.01 and 4.1.1 address the security flaw that allows a malicious site to grab information from the user’s Address Book, including name, company, city/state/country and their email address.
